Yeah HBO do come out with some amazing series. From the ones you listed I have finnished all apart from Six Feet Under wich sadly I only have 4 episodes left, and Oz where I am at the start of season 5. Everything you have listed is what I call mind blowing series.

I could also recommend from HBO True Blood, Deadwood, Generation Kill and The Corner.

Have started watching the next installment, "The Pacific". Really enjoying it so far (EP 4/10).

Bored to Death
Because the dry underplayed character of Jonathan Ames played by one of my favorite actors at the moment Jason Schwartzman is mindblowingly awesome.
Because Ted Danson shines as the bored to death rich guy with an unhealthy hunger for adventure and canabis.
Because Zach Galifianakis' portrayal of the struggling comic book writer Ray Hueston is both loveable and gutwrenchingly awkward
Because I never get tired of shows set in NYC.

This is my favorite show at the moment and has recently been cleared for a 2nd season.
One to watch, definately.

People been talking about Generation Kill, that's it's nearly as good as Band of Brothers. Have you seen it, what do you think?
[RL] [Astarta]: that "about to" is not what i meant Atoski it's like friend of mine that he was "about to pull out" and he's father now u know

Did you like Sopranos?
Would you like a similar show starring say... Steve Buscemi and a crapton of other great actors?
What's that you want Martin Scorsese to produce it and direct the pilot?
AND you want it set in the 1920's where gangsters like Al Capone were the kings of the world?

Your wish is HBO's command:

You need to watch this show. If nothing else for the pilot directed by Martin Scorsese - who has not directed a tv-series since like the 80's.
